Organized 2016 Pet Adoption Fair at Coldwell Banker Woodside office. This was a community invited event, which featured local animal rescue organizations and volunteers . There were a variety of available pets both on-site and off-site. The community members were invited to meet the pets, meet the volunteers, receive training information, and submit adoption applications. Several pets were adopted and a good time was had by all!
BACKGROUND
Janis is a third generation native of the Bay Area. An early interest in the arts led her to study photography. Her work has been published by such organizations as the Sierra Club and the California Special Olympics. She has done extensive political photography, including documentary projects on several Presidential campaigns. A lifelong love of animals resulted in a career in veterinary medicine. Her work in emergency and critical care nursing earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike. After becoming a home owner, Janis discovered passion for homeownership.
COMMUNITY
Janis has been involved with supporting many local organizations, especially those involving children, seniors and animals.
When not working, Janis enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her "menagerie" which currently includes dogs, a cat, and a horse.
